SAD

                                                 ( Jan 13 )

                                                    SAD

It is still Summer here and for a little while yet
but i have just  felt the shadow of change inside...
The Reversing journey of the Sun
affects me before even the cool weather does...

It feels like a thin Curtain is drawn
across the window of my horizon
and as the days go by and the reversal continues
the curtain keeps getting thicker and thicker
as if additional thin layers are drawn across
and all gradually gets dimmed inside.

Like a Boat leaving a Holidaying Port
and Melancholy of Departing is rising in the heart
so i Feel the gradual drawing away of energy
                     from Life and Expression

I am grateful for the good side of another cycle
and enjoying it to its very end
as it is starting to blend
with the beginning of a new one ...

                                                 *

Simply called SAD (Seasonal Affected Disorder)
Also known as ‘Winter Depression, Winter Blues, etc.

                          Disorder really?...
or Natural Phenomenon... responding to the Cycles.
                          In Winter Animals Hibernate,
                          Flowers and Plants grow slower
                          Trees lose their Leaves
then start to Bloom in Spring etc

So why is it considered as a Disorder in people?
